Basically, if you just made the neuronal effort to read all of my posts (2 actually) you would know that I didnt whine (yes, that's the spelling, and you should definitely learn some English before getting into pointless and personal attacks) just for the pleasure of it, I whined for a reason. I did "go to american" as your poor grammar suggests, and I did it before you wrote this mess.

I never said I'm better than anyone else, I just pointed out an unsolved problem european people have.

Reading comprehension is your friend.

I think the split up to into different district depending on languages was a good change (I'm using the English district).
Nobody prevent the non-English speaking ppl to join the English district if they want too and it's decreased the non-English spamming in the English district considerably (which I think is a good thing)

Also, it's decreased the number of bi-lingual group invites (meaning that they invite you and speak English, then once the mission begins, 2-3 persons speak in their own language half the time, which is quite annoying).

Yeah i like the district changes... no longer do i get spammed with "i buy sword" while im trying to replie "no, i want to buy a sword" for 30 mins.

Having played on both the US and Euro regions, i have to say that theres alot less spam and childish behaviour on the Euro.

But from another point of view waiting for 30 mins to join a PUG team only to find they have 6 warriors and a ranger (lmao) is the down side.

Still i have layed my bed and now have to sleep in it. Euro clan's unite !!! lets defeat these infidels...

I agree that this language division is a change for the worst. It only works in somewhere like Ascalon City were the District count goes into 20+, but once you hit Crystal Desert and onwards, you only get about one district per mission, maybe 2 if you were playing at peak time.

So now EU players have an even shallower pool of players in which to complete these difficult missions, and even if some players decided to jump into the english districts, they only receive the warm and fuzzy welcome messages of "OMG go back to the french/german/spanish districts LOLZ".

im from germany too, but played some time on the american server. pvp was much better there, they use ts or vent more often. the prob with it is that you dont understand their chitchat but the important things like tactics are not that hard to understand.
then i was lucky and found a guild which looked good to me and a joined it. i had to switch to the european server again to be more available for pve but it was not that bad.
now i often play pvp with em (and we use ts ofcourse) and i think were not doing bad. (ladder place 160 yesterday, but we didnt play many gvg to now) normally be try hoh and sometimes play (if we dont have enough players) with english ppl and theyre better to understand. i like it that way.
and i also like the new districts because i think its better if wanna use a voice prog and i also can keep away from the german kiddies cause its REALLY bad in the german districst imo.

Russian team (Ladder to Hell [LtH] + RusCorp [Rus]) got 36th place in a ladder with a new fresh guild in one weekend (in the last saturday)
http://ladder.guildwars.com/ladder.dll?name=out+of+mana

Two new members in a team, they never played PvP in Guild Wars.

20 wins / 4 losses
One loss to 8th place Korea University http://ladder.guildwars.com/ladder.d...rea+University
Two losses to 9th place We Gamer http://ladder.guildwars.com/ladder.dll?name=We+Gamer
One loss when our target caller was disconnected

Not too bad for a first try after a big delay.
Note: You can't oficially buy Guild Wars in Russia, you can buy it only via several internet shops if you know where to buy. There are like 200 Russian players total in GW, most aren't interested in PvP or aren't even lvl 20 yet. There are 4 Russian clans.

P.S. Europe, whine more plz how you suck. Of course, it's easier to whine than to do something.
P.P.S. We're playing for Europe for obvious reasons.

I have to agree, europe is not the power in GW it should be. We have British, French , German etc. yet we are most likely the least feared opponent in pvp. The koreans probably laugh themselves silly when they know they are fighting europeans. I think the main reason for our poor peformance is that the countries are so split and hate each other.

I think the splitting of districts was good. I know sometimes its a bit harder to find a group, but now ( area around Augury Rock and later on ) once u got a party, they work together good. Weve tried dunes of despair 5 times or so with the same party. Chatting is a lot better cause everything is in english, and yes, the germans dont have to ask any ger. wich i think is realy anoying, i dont see any other country doing that.

Why is it, everytime someones states an opinion and puts some facts behind that, which you can't counter that easily... people just ignore everything said and spit out a "damn whiner" comment as they can't counter the arguments.
That's pretty lame.

Well, sooner or later the Europe in GW will take a tip from the Europe in Real Life and unite together under the banner of "We Hate America".

Sadly, it funny yet I can see it happening!

No, it's not that we suck. But it's just too hard to form groups.

I play mostly late at night, so there are even fewer people online. For example for 2 days we wanted to do the "gates of kryta mission". We had to go to 3 districts (german, french, english)" to form a 5 people team. Because in every district there were like 3 or so guys. That is just not funny.

It would be cool, if I could go to the US Servers for some PvE and maybe PvP-Arena but I can only go to the underworld if europe is holding the HoH. That would be much better. I don't want to switch to the US servers permanently, but the situation now is very bad

It's not that we only got bad players, hell no, we got many very good players - but it's so hard to form good groups (or even to get a whole group )

I'm lucky, because I can speak german and english, so I got twice as much prospective group-mates than an only-english-speaker. With english+german people together, you can get decent groups - with german or english alone, it's quite hard.

Our Guild moved over to american servers because we were sick of the european situation.

Must say american servers are so much better.. everyone speaks english, millions of districts and people buying and selling.. on european server it is nearly impossible to find items you need.

After the district split on EU servers we have all moved back!... it is much better with having english only districts.. and although recently there hasnt been much winning on HoH we do seem more competative.

but your right.. there are ALOT of negatives to being on the EU servers alltogether.. with the language split or not.

We will give the EU servers another chance, but if they dont acknowledge the huge disadvantage the EU has, then one of two things will happen to our guild

a] We will all go back to US servers, and will reccomend all friends to do the same
b] We will all get very bored and very frustrated and and dis-miss guildwars for another game...

we already have people leaving, so I suspect the later to be the case.

Sorry like.. excelent game but the multi-player aspect (being the main reason to play) is a bit crap at the moment.

(sorry for spelling mistakes)

I like the new launguage seperated districts.

due to computer troubles I did not play for a week or so, I logged in over the weekend and in towns I saw people seeling this or that, asking for help on such and such etc, then I realised....

I was actually reading the chat - before it was a melting pot of languages, german, spanish, italian, dutch, etc...

It's improved the game for me. I'm sure for people who play at odd hours it might well be more challenging to get a group, however if the old system was ever reinstated I think I'd switch to te US servers.

I don't believe it people who've been on both US and European servers think europe has less idiots and illiterates?

I can understand on sheer numbers we have less, but percentage wise it seems worse, I feel I've found a gem of a group if someone doesn't draw genitals on my map at some point.

Tell me it isn't true or has the whole world gone to pot?

P.S I prefer the seperated districts now too, just need one more specially made for those who can't read or write in any language at all.

will only get worse when they make the korean server available to all of us in asia. right now get a lot of australians/new zealanders on europe and america server. what europe pvpers need to do is stop joining 'norse only' 'celt only' 'french only' guilds and start forming 'fame 3+ only' guilds and 'must use teamspeak' guilds.

Agreed. People should leave their petty nationalistic crap at the door, although I suppose Anet are hardly helping the situation with the continental, and now national segregation (being able to swap districts hardly helps, and even serves to make the situation even worse).

About the language barriers, a lot of European nations teach English as a second language, so seeing German/French/whatever in the public chat channels hardly bothers me since people will probably speak English when it's necessary (ie. ingame). It's not like I care about the usual crap talking/squabbling that happens in English, anyway.

The problem isn't that Europe has so few players, it's that so many of them play on US servers.

My guild has done the same because of the substantially higher population, which of course only makes the situation worse. I like the new districts, cuz it was frustrating to see german and french text all the time. But of course, as long as so many euro's play on US servers, the splitting of euro districts will make the difference seem even bigger.
